Reminding that they brought Atatürk's heirloom back to life with the information they obtained from past documents and records, İmamoğlu said, “It was very good. Years later, we are proud and honored to start Ulugazi Oil Wrestling in Istanbul. We wish it to continue for many more years," he said. Stating that competitions with a deep-rooted history are held in every corner of Turkey, such as Elmalı and Kırkpınar, İmamoğlu said, “However, Istanbul can of course add a different color and a different momentum to wrestling. May God give them health and peace," he said.
