Head of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş opened the photography exhibition titled “There is a Verse in My Frame” in Ankara.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition presented to art lovers at the Ankara High Speed ​​​​Train Station by the General Directorate of Education Services, President of Religious Affairs Erbaş said that they aimed to direct young people to the content of the Qur'an with the photography exhibition and they succeeded.

President Erbaş stated that young people are not only taught the Qur'an in Qur'an courses, but also programs are made for them to understand the Qur'an.

Stating that within the scope of the 'There is a Verse in My Frame' project, the young people observe the natural events by acting from the verses and photograph the natural events in the verses. Saying, “Art is very important in Islam and Allah is the greatest artist,” Chairman Erbaş said, “How He created the universe and all that is in it, and each Esmaü'l Hüsna reveals the greatness of our Lord. Allah Almighty creates His beautiful Essence in His servants as well. Craftsmanship is a grace of our Lord on His servants. It gives a beautiful voice to some, it gives the ability to write beautifully to some, and to others, taking pictures at work, which is an art. It is a very good quality for the photographer to frame an event in the universe created by Allah Almighty and try to understand it by connecting it with the verse. That's what we teach in our Qur'an courses." he said.

Reminding that the 2022-2023 academic year of Qur'an courses started, President Erbaş said, "In our Qur'an courses, catechism and creed information, principles of belief, matters related to worship, how can I understand the Qur'an better, how can I understand the whole Qur'an? Our Qur'an courses are an institution that puts them in the program. I am not saying from seven to seventy, our Quran courses are open to all our citizens, regardless of age, before or after seventy.” he said.

Stating that the courses are organized in the best way for children aged 4-6, President Erbaş said, “They learn about their Lord there, they learn about our Prophet (pbuh). We teach them what it is to respect the elders, to show love to the little ones, what is to love people, what is family, mother, father and universal values. used his statements.

President Erbaş congratulated all the young people who participated in the photography contest at the end of his speech.
