InnoTrans Fair Opened Its Doors To Visitors After 4 Years

InnoTrans, the transportation technologies, systems and vehicles fair, which is held every two years in Berlin, opened its doors to visitors after a 19-year hiatus during the Kovid-4 outbreak. Organized for the 13th time this year, 2022 visitors are expected to attend InnoTrans 200. The fair will host its visitors at the Messe fairground in Berlin, the capital of Germany, on 20-23 September.

Described as one of the largest international transportation fairs in Europe, InnoTrans was officially opened after the press briefing yesterday. The fair, which had to be postponed twice due to the Kovid-19 outbreak, focuses on the theme of "sustainable mobility" this year.

While transportation technologies that facilitate mobility in cities and new smart solutions that make public transportation more sustainable, digitalization and smart networking tools attract attention from the participants at the fair.

In addition to public transportation, the latest trends, innovations and sustainable solutions for transportation infrastructure stand out at the fair, where 56 companies from 2 countries exhibit their new technologies and products.

While the railway infrastructure is the main subject of the fair, the latest innovations in railway technology, public transportation, interiors and tunnel construction, locomotives, high-speed train sets, signaling equipment, wagons and all other equipment and services in the field of rail systems are presented to the visitors.

60 companies from Turkey are taking part in the fair with an area of ​​approximately 3 thousand square meters and there are several Turkish companies in almost each of the 27 halls.

This year, digital solutions for railways and energy-saving railways are the focus of the fair, while climate sustainability is also on the radar of manufacturers.

In addition, the human resources managers of the companies will have the opportunity to meet with new entrants to the profession in the railway sector and answer questions from them.
