With the statement made by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, it was announced that Azerbaijani pilots completed Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA training. It was expected that the trainings would be completed soon and the pilots would return to their homeland. Azerbaijan Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov made a statement in June 2022, “(Teknofest Azerbaijan) We have met Akıncı deeply, which interests us. I will not keep it a secret, the first team trained in this direction in Turkey will return to Azerbaijan in a few days.” made his statements. In the statement made by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, it was stated that a group of soldiers from the Azerbaijan Army participated in the AKINCI TİHA course within the framework of the cooperation agreement in the field of military training signed between the two brotherly countries Azerbaijan and Turkey. With the AKINCI 5th Term Graduation Ceremony, Azerbaijani trainees received their certificates.

T3 Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Baykar Technology Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar announced for the first time Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA exports to Azerbaijan at Haber Global in Baku, where TEKNOFEST was held. Bayraktar said, “Although it is our duty as an engineer to develop high technology, the main thing is where and for what purpose it is used. The performance of Bayraktar SİHAs and the performance of the Turkish armies in the Karabakh war is the greatest sign of pride for us as engineers. Haluk Bayraktar and I were awarded the Order of Karabakh. I can say that it is one of the engagements we have received with the greatest pride. Hopefully, we will see AKINCI in the skies of Azerbaijan.” he said.

Contracts signed with 3 countries for the export of AKINCI TİHA!

A contract was signed with three countries for the export of Baykar Teknoloji Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The names of the exported countries and how many systems they bought were not disclosed. Thanks to this export, besides the MAM family, ammunition such as KGK, HGK and LGK can be sold to countries.

Baykar announced that export contracts have been signed with 3 countries so far for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA. Within the scope of the contracts, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and ground systems are expected to be delivered periodically starting from 2023. Realizing its first national UAV export in 2012, Baykar completed the export of 2021 million dollars S/UAV system in 664, generating more than 80% of its revenues from exports. Negotiations continue with many countries that are interested in the National TİHA Bayraktar AKINCI.
