The important railway project of the Southern Marmara Line; Expressing that the construction of the Osmaneli-Yenişehir-Bursa-Balıkesir High Speed Train project is continuing rapidly, Karaismailoğlu continued his speech as follows;

“Our 24 billion lira high-speed train project is 201 kilometers long… While our physical progress has reached 56 percent in the 84 kilometer Bursa-Yenişehir section, we continue our infrastructure works. Along with the 95-kilometer Balıkesir-Bursa section, the project work has been completed in the 50-kilometer Yenişehir-Osmaneli section. Up next; Superstructure and Electromechanical works of Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli section and infrastructure works of Yenişehir-Osmaneli section are progressing rapidly. When our project is completed, with high speed trains; The rail travel between Ankara-Bursa and Bursa-Istanbul will be approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes in an uninterrupted, fast and comfortable way. On the Balıkesir Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed Train Line; 7 stations or stations, 16,5 tunnels with a total length of 13 kilometers, 8 escape tunnels with a total length of 11 kilometers, 1 cut-and-cover tunnels of 5 kilometer, 4 railway bridges with a total length of 28 kilometers, 4 railroad bridges with a total length of 4 kilometers. Along with the viaduct and 1,5 underpasses with a total length of 66 kilometers, 155 culverts will be manufactured. We started this project, in which we integrated Bursa, Bilecik and Balıkesir into the high-speed rail network, on November 22, 2021. high speed train line; Gürsu will be connected to the Ankara-Istanbul HT Line with the triple line to be built in Osmaneli, following the Yenişehir route. At the same time, we will provide a railway connection by passing through TEKNOSAB, Karacabey and Kuş Cenneti stations in the west of Bursa. As you know, we came together at the viaduct of our high-speed train line on Mudanya Boulevard on February 12, and we had a live connection with our tunnels, which had just begun work at that time. When we act with determination and determination, it is also possible to reap the fruits of our work.”

WE WILL COMPLETE OUR WORK ON OUR OTHER TUNNELS IN A SHORT TIME

Emphasizing that the light can be seen today in one of those tunnels, the T500 tunnel, which is approximately 04 meters long, Karaismailoğlu stated that 14 kilometers of the tunnels with a total length of 5 kilometers were completed in 3,2 months.

During the excavations of the T04 tunnel; Noting that 612 cubic meters of soil movement was carried out, Karaismailoğlu said, “We have completed 140 thousand meters of ground improvement. We will complete our work in our other tunnels one after the other in a short time. While we continue to work on the infrastructure, we also continue our preparations for the superstructure. We will continue our work 7/24 without slowing down, and we will complete our high-speed train for the service of our people in 2,5 years. Our high-speed train project, which can carry 30 million passengers and 59 million tons of cargo annually, during its construction and when it is put into operation; We will ensure prosperity, employment and economic development for our region and our country.

Emek-High Speed Train Station-Şehir Hospital metro line has 4 stations and its total length is 6 kilometers. With the integration of the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed Train Line and the metro, we offer a good option for Bursa's high-speed train transportation. In our project; We have reached the level of 19 percent in excavation work, 21 percent in concrete casting and 30 percent in bored pile manufacturing.”

MEETING THE NEED FOR 20 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT IN 100 YEARS IS NOT A SUCCESS THAT EVERY GOVERNMENT WILL SUCCESS.

Saying that they are happy to see the fruits of the big transportation and communication investments made, Karaismailoğlu made the following evaluations;

“Crossing the Izmit Bay by car using the existing road took one and a half hours, and crossing by ferry took 45 to 60 minutes after getting on the ferry. On busy days, the waiting time was hours. Now, it is possible to cross the bay in 6 minutes with Osmangazi Bridge. On July 8, 80 thousand 624 vehicles crossed the Osmangazi Bridge, breaking a record. Without Osmangazi Bridge, it would not be possible to transport so many vehicles by ferry, travels would be interrupted and transportation would not be possible. With the Osmangazi Bridge and Izmir-Istanbul Motorway project, which reduced the distance between Istanbul and Izmir to 3,5 hours, we saved 5 million hours in total between July 11 and July 2,5. We have saved 1,5 million liters of fuel. The total cost of savings from fuel, time and emissions reached 85 million liras. Again, with the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which provides uninterrupted highway connection for the first time in history in the Dardanelles, the passage time for the Bosphorus has been reduced to 6 minutes. The ferry ordeal that lasted for hours ended with the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge. The 2 Çanakkale Bridge, which was built with a construction cost of 545 billion 1915 million euros without a penny coming out of the state coffers, passed 4 thousand 4 vehicles on July 7 and 31 thousand 8 vehicles on July 14, even 275 months after its opening. On July 8, 132 thousand 377 vehicles drove the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. On July 8, 1422 aircraft and 230 thousand passengers used Istanbul Airport. Istanbul Airport became the busiest and best airport in Europe. On July 2, we broke a record with 1026 aircraft traffic at Antalya Airport. We renewed this record on the first day of Eid al-Adha. A total of 1034 aircraft traffic were served. Passenger traffic was 182 in total. Meeting the need for 150 years of development in 20 years is not a success that will be granted to every government. Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we have not only filled an unprecedented gap; We have also planned the infrastructure and communication investments of our country for the next 100 years.”

EVERY STEP WE TAKE, SOMEONE WANTS TO AX FOR 20 YEARS

Karaismailoğlu said, “Someone has been trying to undermine our love for our nation, our love for our Blue Homeland, every step we have taken towards national independence and economy, for 20 years.” It tries to ignore the contribution of the projects we have realized to production, employment, export and development, without making calculations, books, false information and documents. Their only hope is lies, slander, slander. Of course, we give the necessary answer to false slanders and this helplessness about our projects, and we know very well that our nation distinguishes what is right and what is wrong. We cannot afford to waste our time with them. We have more work to do. Considering the future generations in transportation and communication, we made long-term macro plans that prepare our children for a strong Turkey of tomorrow.”

WE ARE COMFORTABLE, EVERY BUSINESS IS OPEN

Reminding that the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan was prepared and shared with the public, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, “According to our plan; in all our passenger transports, the share of our railways has increased from 1 percent to 6,2 percent; We will increase the share of railways in total freight transport from 5 percent to 22 percent. We will increase the number of provinces with High Speed Train connection from 8 to 52. We will increase the annual passenger transportation from 19,5 million to 270 million. We will complete the infrastructure of our safe, fast, efficient and effective railway network. We will meet 35 percent of the total energy need in railways from renewable energy sources. We work on a 7/24 basis for the reconstruction and revival of our country in every field. Under the leadership of our President, we say 'no stop, keep going'. We know very well that every transportation and communication investment we make will contribute to the production, employment, trade, tourism and culture of the place they pass through, just like rivers. Our people know very well those who bring the water and those who break the jug, and they know very well the difference between the two mentalities. Therefore, we are comfortable. Our every job is open… We continue on our way shoulder to shoulder with our nation.”
