Rize-Artvin Airport Works Have Ended

Rize-Artvin Airport, which is one of the mega projects of the region that Rize is eagerly waiting for, has come to an end. Rize Governor Kemal Ceber, together with his wife Neslihan Ayan Ceber and Pazar Governor Mustafa Akın, made investigations on the airport construction. He received information about the latest status of the works from the contractor company officials.

Governor Kemal Ceber, who stated that their excitement increased as the works for Rize-Artvin Airport, the second airport of Turkey, which was built with sea filling with an annual capacity of 3 million passengers, increased, said, “We have come to the end of a proud and exciting project for our region and our country in Rize. Apart from our airport, which will make a significant contribution to the economy and tourism of our city, we see the architecture of Rize completely. Again, when you visit the interior of our terminal building, we see that stone and wood are used. At the same time, we see the tea museum and areas related to tea. Our excitement grows as we visit this place and see the work that has emerged. Hopefully, we will open our airport in the near future and offer it to our citizens," he said.
