We are planning many more, we are thinking and planning for the future in order to leave a stronger Turkey to our future children. In the light of these goals, the railways have always served as the 'key' for those who take the road, and have made valuable contributions to the economic and social life of our country. Despite this importance, the construction and restoration of the railway in our country was unfortunately neglected after the first period of the Republic. Our railways were almost left to their fate and the potential of our country could not be evaluated correctly. Together, we see that these efforts have returned to our 700 million citizens as employment and welfare.”

While increasing efficiency, productivity and mobility in railways, we are working to reduce the damage to the environment. For this purpose, we are establishing 'Smart Railway Transportation Systems'. We continue to work on the creation of a strong energy infrastructure with renewable energy sources in railways. In this direction, we started the preparation of the 'Energy Management and Climate Change Action Plan'. We identified three main themes in the action plan; 'Green transportation on the railway', 'Zero carbon future' and 'Reliable energy supply'... In the medium term of 4-10 years, we will meet 35% of the energy we consume on railways from renewable energy sources. We will bring the railways to much better points in a safe, secure, fast, environmentally friendly way. In addition to the railway, we consider all transportation modes and the communication sector in an integrated and coordinated manner, and we take all our steps according to this approach. In particular, the coordination of these modes with smart transportation systems accelerates our 'road strength'.”

WE SUPPORT OUR EMPLOYEES IN COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS

Noting that they will further increase the reform investments made in the railways, Karaismailoğlu said that they resolutely support the steps taken to increase the Turkish economy with investment, employment, production, exports and current surplus. It grew by .2021 percent and we doubled our previous year's success. Despite all the negativity, we broke the record of the Republic's history in exports in XNUMX. Your contribution to the foreign trade and growth figures provided by our country after the pandemic is very, very big. We support our employees, who work hard for all this growth and development, in collective bargaining agreements. "We are making maximum efforts to ensure that they are not crushed by inflation," he said.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they manage Turkey's transportation system in an integrated and coordinated manner, along with land, air, rail and sea routes, and made the following assessments:

“Especially the coordination of these modes with smart transportation systems accelerates our 'road strength'. These lands will be important and prioritized in the world geography in 1071 and 1915, just as they were important in 2023 and strategically important in 2071. Our country has reinforced its importance in the Middle Corridor of the historical Silk Road stretching from China to London. As in all modes of transportation, we work according to this importance and priority in our railways, and we will continue to do so. I would also like to underline the following: Your great efforts have a great place in the realization of these projects. Our nation also appreciates the results of our efforts, the sweats we shed shoulder to shoulder, and our works.
