Continuing its test flights, Bayraktar AKINCI B TİHA flew a record in the test flight that took place today. AKINCI broke the altitude record of our national aviation history by climbing to an altitude of 40.170 feet.
FLYING TO THE RECORD
The B model of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA (Assault Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), developed by Baykar with domestic and national means, within the scope of the AKINCI project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, met with the sky last week. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA's B model, which has 2 x 750 HP and a total of 1500 HP, managed to break the altitude record of our national aviation history in the ongoing test flights.
INCREASED TO 40.170 FEET
Continuing its test flights in Çorlu without saying snow or winter, Bayraktar AKINCI B reached a height of 40.170 feet after tests carried out at different altitudes. Bayraktar AKINCI B thus reached the highest altitude of a domestic and national aircraft.
THE OLD RECORD ALSO BELONGS TO AKINCI
Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which entered the inventory with the ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on August 29, 2021, broke the altitude record of our aviation history by reaching an altitude of 8 feet in the flight test carried out on July 2021, 38.039. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs are currently actively used by our security forces in operational missions. So far, 6 Bayraktar AKINCI TİHAs have entered the security forces inventory.
EXPORT AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH TWO COUNTRIES
Export contracts have been signed with 2 countries for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA. Within the scope of the contracts, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA and ground systems are expected to be delivered periodically starting from 2023. Realizing its first national UAV export in 2012, Baykar completed the export of 2021 million dollars S/UAV system in 664, generating more than 80% of its revenues from exports. Negotiations continue with many countries that are interested in the National TİHA Bayraktar AKINCI.
BAYRAKTAR AKINCI C ON THE ROAD
Bayraktar AKINCI A TİHA, which is included in the inventory, operates with 2 x 450 HP engines with a total power of 900 HP. The new version of the National TİHA, Bayraktar AKINCI C, will have a total engine power of 2 HP, 950 X 1900 HP. Bayraktar AKINCI C TİHA is expected to make its first flight in the near future.
