ArtAnkara 8th International Contemporary Art Fair was opened to visitors at the ATO Congresium, with a preview and opening ceremony held on 9 March. In the fair, which will be the center of attraction for art on March 10-13; Approximately 33 works of art by more than 1000 artists from 4500 countries are on display.
Gathering the appreciation of art audiences with its outstanding exhibition projects, DO ART Gallery brought the works of nearly 8 artists together with art lovers in an area of 190 square meters at the ArtAnkara 70th Contemporary Art Fair.
Seyed DAVOUD, the founder of the art gallery and sculpture artist, gave details about his projects related to the fair as follows:
“First of all, I am very excited to take part in Art Ankara, one of Turkey's most important fairs, with DO ART Gallery this year. This year, we participated in the fair, where I took part as an artist in the past years, with nearly 70 artists, each more valuable than the other, within DO ART Gallery. We brought the art audience together with a wide range of works from different disciplines and techniques. In our fair project, we host both our valuable teachers and talented names from the young generation. We invite all art lovers to ArtAnkara 8th Contemporary Art Fair.”
A selection from the collection "Perfect Balance: Deep-Trace", which includes digital art works by Günsu Saraçoğlu, who has been known for her works in the field of art and her identity as a painter for many years, met with art lovers at DO ART Gallery. Saracoglu; He evaluated the fair and said the following about his work:
“The selection of my digital art works that started during the pandemic period, prepared as plexiglass, met art lovers for the first time at the ArtAnkara Fair within DO ART Gallery. My digital art works took part in the first international presentation EuroExpoArtFair, and later in different projects on international art platforms such as UbiVerse and Talenthouse. I would like to say this when I evaluate the fair in general. For us artists, fairs are important platforms that bring art circles together. ArtAnkara Fair, which I have attended for many years, is developing and continues by contributing to the development of art every year. First of all, I would like to thank the DO ART Gallery team and everyone who contributed at every stage of the fair. I wish all the artists in the fair have a pleasant fair. We welcome all art lovers to the fair.”
Nilgün Sipahioğlu Dalay was another artist who attracted great attention from the audience at the ArtAnkara Fair. Dalay, who attracted attention with his solo exhibition “Members of the Upper World” in 2021, met with the art audience once again at AG Art-Aysel Gözübüyük Art House. We got his views about the works from the same collection of the artist, whose works are exhibited in countries such as Italy and Germany, and about the fair.
I am very happy to meet the art audience at the fair again after the troubled times we went through. I spent the pandemic process extremely productive. ArtAnkara has become a traditional organization where we, the artists, meet with the art audience. I would like to thank all the team who contributed to the fair and ASSanat Evi.
