An award-winning short film competition will be held by the Ministry of Family and Social Services with the theme of "Hero of My City-Martyr of My City", which will tell the heroism of 81 martyrs from 81 provinces, with the participation of university students.
A short film competition is organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, General Directorate of Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans, to tell the heroism of the martyrs of each province, with the participation of university students.
In the book "Heroic Epics of Our 81 Martyrs from 81 Cities", prepared by the Ministry and distributed to all universities, libraries and related institutions in Turkey, it is aimed to tell the epics written by the martyrs with films.
In this context, the short film competition to be held under the title "Hero of My City-Martyr of My City" will be open to university students. Applications for the competition will start on March 18 and end on July 15, 2022. Participation in the competition is free of charge and can be applied individually or as a group. Applications will be made on the internet address herolikdestanlari.aile.gov.tr.
In the competition, the first prize will be awarded 120 TL, the second 20.000 TL, and the third 15.000 TL, as a result of the evaluation of the Selection Committee, which also includes the director of the movie "Interception / Good Ki Varsın Eren", Özer Feyzioğlu and the music producer of the movie "10.000" Ömer Özhan Eren. The first honorable mention was 8.000 TL, the second honorable mention was 5.000 TL.
It is planned that the winning works will be announced on 30 August 2022 and the award ceremony will be held on 29 October.
