MUSIAD TUIT program was hosted by MUSIAD Gebze Branch in Informatics Valley. Making evaluations at the event, MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı emphasized that digitalization has become even more important in the transforming world. President Asmalı said, “Climate change and digitalization have triggered sustainable industrial policies. It is possible to take stronger and more solid steps in the world of tomorrow by shaping our works accordingly.”

Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Turkey Consultation Meeting (TUIT) program was held in Kocaeli Gebze Informatics Valley with the theme of “Digital Transformation in Industry”. Organized by MUSIAD Gebze Branch, the event was attended by MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı, Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın, Deputy Ministers of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, Dr. Çetin Ali Dönmez, MUSIAD Gebze Branch President Serkan Beyaz and MUSIAD members from all over Turkey attended. Making evaluations in the program carried out under the coordination of MUSIAD Sector Boards and Business Development Commission, MUSIAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı stated that digitalization is gaining more and more importance in the transforming world. Stating that issues such as climate change and digitalization trigger sustainable industrial policies, President Asmalı emphasized that the business world's revision of its work within this scope will reveal positive results in the future.

“Innovative ideas lead to success with courage”

Expressing that MUSIAD has continued on its way with the ideal of a strong Turkey since its establishment, the Chairman of MUSIAD stated that it will continue to support domestic and national projects. President Asmalı touched upon the projects implemented in the field of technology in the last 20 years and underlined that innovative ideas lead to success with courage. President Asmalı continued his speech as follows: “Those who dreamed in the past succeeded in making their dreams come true with their courage. At the same time, they showed how they would take the steps they took with enthusiasm to the skies when the opportunity was given. Today, the world is talking about the success of Turkish UAVs. Today, Turkey's automobile is the center of attention at world fairs. Turkey's ability to reach a much more competitive position; It is directly proportional to the fact that every production and industry-oriented sector can develop products and business models in these areas. In the rapidly changing and developing world, we must work harder and update our domestic and national industry to adapt to innovations quickly. It is possible for us to build this update on a sustainable basis with revisions in the field of education.”

“We trust Turkey's potential”

Mentioning the steps to be taken within the scope of MUSIAD's Investment Year projection, MUSIAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı stated that 25 thousand new jobs will be created with the 25 billion TL investment to be made in the first place. President Asmalı used the following expressions: “At our MUSIAD Visioner'21 Summit in December, we announced our Climate Manifesto and conveyed the roadmap of green transformation in the industry. We started the Anatolian Production and Investment Movement in January. We said we believe in Turkey's potential. Our Investment Year announcement is an indicator of this belief. There is an investment of 20 billion TL realized in just one and a half months. Together with our MUSIAD members, we aim to invest 25 billion TL in the first stage. When these investments are completed, they will create 25 thousand new jobs.”

Digital Transformation, Green Deal, Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 panel sessions were held at the TUIT Summit

In the panel sessions organized within the scope of MUSIAD TUIT Summit, the “Digital Transformation and Green Reconciliation” panel session was moderated by Albayrak Holding CTO Erdal Nalbant. In the session, MUSIAD Energy and Environment Sector Board Chairman Altuğ Karataş, ASAŞ Aluminum Energy Automation Manager Hasan Basri Taşkın and ROBO CEO Haluk Özcan shared their thoughts. In the panel session "Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0" moderated by MUSIAD Machinery Sector Board Chairman İsmail Somalı, MITSUBISHI Electric Factory Automation Systems Product Management and Marketing Unit Manager Tolga Can Bizel, Marmara University Mechanical Engineering Department Vice President Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Sina Kuseyri and MCS Automation Chairman of the Board Adem Kayar made evaluations. In the "Industry 4.0 Implementing Companies Session" held under the moderation of MÜSİAD Machinery Sector Board Vice President Uğur Koşar, AkPlas Board Member Abdullah Böyet, Kalkancı Press Casting Deputy General Manager Ali Davut and SMS Tork Deputy General Manager Ömer Kaya explained his work. “AugeLab Image Processing” and “Niocycle” platforms were examined in the “Startalks” section organized within the scope of the TUIT program.
