IETT continues the test drives of vehicles of different brands for the purchase of 2022 electric vehicles, which it has put in its 100 budget. This time, a domestic production Temsa brand electric bus with a range of 400 kilometers was tested.

IETT continues its test drives in the process of purchasing 2022 electric buses in the 100 budget. This time, the test process of the Temsa brand 100 percent electric vehicle brought from Adana has begun. The electric vehicle was brought to İkitelli Garage by the company. Here, the first test drive of the vehicle was carried out with the participation of IETT General Manager Alper Bilgili, Deputy General Manager İrfan Demet and the relevant department heads.

IETT delegation and company representatives got on the electric bus before Halkalı, then went to the Olympic Stadium campus via İkitelli. Company officials gave information about the vehicle during the journey. It was stated that the vehicle has a range of 400 kilometers, the software of the batteries with a capacity of 360 kW is also domestic, and the battery capacity can be reduced or increased if requested. It was stated that Temsa's “Avenue Electron” model vehicle with a 35-seat capacity is still being used by some European countries.

Like other electric vehicles tested, the Temsa brand electric vehicle will be tested for 1 week with the weights placed on it. IETT will start the testing process of 3 more electric vehicles of other brands in the coming days. Then it will create a technical specification for the purchase of electric vehicles. After the test and specification process is completed, the tender process will be started for the vehicle purchase.
