The share of Lion in the 2017 Budget of Izmir Metropolitan Area

The Lion's Share in the 2017 Budget of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is Again Transportation: The 2017 budget of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and its affiliated organizations has been determined. Accordingly, the 2017 budget of IZSU and ESHOT will be 6 billion 774 million 459 thousand TL.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, ESHOT General Directorate and İZSU General Directorate prepared budget drafts for 2017. At the meeting held by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council on Monday, November 14, the budgets transferred to the budget commissions will be voted after the negotiations to be held a week later. The budget of the Metropolitan Municipality was 4 billion 950 million TL, the budget of İZSU was 1 billion 78 million 127 TL and the budget of the General Directorate of ESHOT was 746 million 459 TL.

The share allocated by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for transportation from the budget for 2017 is as follows:
The lion's share in the investment items in the budget of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality was reserved for transportation as in the previous year. 50 million TL for ship purchase, 42 million for the signaling system, and the development of new scaffolding and scaffolding for 3 million 300 thousand TL was allocated. 3 million TL for the construction of the Evka-20-Bornova Central Metro in the investments to be made within the Department of Suburban and Rail Systems, 150 million TL for the purchase of Metro vehicles, 16 million TL in the construction of new lines, lower and overpass, and 126 million for the construction of tram lines and the purchase of vehicles. TL, 60 million TL for metro Halkapınar underground warehouse construction, 50 million TL for Fahrettin Altay-Narlıdere District subway construction, 20 million TL for monorail construction work of Gaziemir new fair area-İZBAN ESBAŞ station, 16 million for Halkapınar light rail storage facilities development TL, Üçyol-Dokuz Eylül Tınaztepe Campus-Bucakoop metro construction work was allocated 50 million TL.
