Ramadan

Başkentray Project, which will raise the suburban train line between Sincan and Kayaş, which is planned to start in June, was postponed after the feast to prevent citizens from having transportation problems during Ramadan. Works will start in July
Başkentray works, which have turned into a snake story for years, are finally starting. The work of the project, which will bring suburban flights between Sincan and Kayaş to metro standards, will start in July, right after the Ramadan Festival. The field work in Başkentray, which was planned to be carried out by TCDD General Directorate in June, was postponed to July so that the people living in the region did not suffer from transportation problems during the Ramadan.
THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS WILL INCREASE
The Başkentray Project covers the reconstruction of existing lines within Ankara between the Ankara-Behiçbey road, the 6 road between Behiçbey and Sincan, the 5 road between Ankara and Kayas, and the 4 road between Ankara and Kayaş. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to raise the railway stations at the existing stations while planning to remove all level crossings on the route. Upon completion of the capital, Sincan-Kayaş will have an average of 15 million per year for passengers carrying 60 million.
WILL THE METROBUS BE PLACED?
In July, when Başkentray works will begin, citizens living in Sincan will be transported to Kızılay by EGO buses. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Melih Gökçek previously stated in a statement on the subject that a metrobus can be built between Sincan-Kızılay. What was the final decision of President Gökçek was a matter of curiosity.
