IETT Fleet is Renewing: 13 New Buses are in Service!

IMM subsidiary İETT continues to renew its fleet. 150 more of the 13 buses added to the fleet have started their services. The number of buses put into service, equipped with new generation security technologies, has reached 55. After the deliveries, the purchased buses will be put into service of Istanbulites on different lines.

IETT, a long-established organization of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), continues its new and innovative investments for public transportation. In this context, 13 new buses with strong, comfortable and smart transportation systems have joined the IETT fleet. 12 more domestically produced buses, 100 meters long, with a capacity of 13 passengers, with digital camera mirrors and features that increase passenger comfort, were put into service in Istanbul. Thus, 150 of the 55 new buses purchased were put into service.

IT RECEIVED ITS FIRST PASSENGERS

The first buses to arrive in the fleet; 80 / Kazlıçeşme – Eminönü 32T / Cevatpaşa – Taksim 80T / Kazlıçeşme – Taksim 85C / Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa – Kazlıçeşme MK97 / Çavuşpaşa – Zeytinburnu MR10 / Zeytinburnu – Kazlıçeşme MR11 / Kazlıçeşme – Topkapı 32 M / Cevatpaşa – Mecidiyeköy 31 / Ku on yumcukent – ​​Yenikapı lines started to serve. It is planned that new buses will arrive in the coming days and start serving on different lines.

TECHNOLOGICAL AND COMFORTABLE

The buses, which are 12 meters long and have a capacity of 100 passengers, have 300 horsepower. The vehicle has digital camera mirror systems, instant driver mood analysis and passenger counting systems. In addition, the ability to share vehicle data instantly with the Fleet Management Center, driver accident warning equipment, Telemetry System and view cameras for the driver are among the vehicle's other systems.
