AJet continues its growth by adding a new destination to its international flight network. Sulaymaniyah, one of the important cities of Iraq, is now open to service with flights from Istanbul. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the Iraqi market with this new route.

The first flight was carried out on December 2, 2025, and flights started from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Suleymaniye International Airport. After the journey, which lasted approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes, the airline company organized a welcome ceremony with a traditional water ornament. Both company and airport managers attended the ceremony and celebrated the start of the new line.

The flights are scheduled four days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. This new route became AJet’s third destination in Iraq; Previously, transportation was provided to Baghdad and Erbil.

AJetcontinues to grow by opening a total of 19 international destinations in 2025.
