Through these tests, engineers measure the machine’s efficiency, braking distances, noise levels and levelling capabilities to ensure compliance with European standards (TSI, EN and NNTR-NOR regulations).

Beilhack HB 1100S: Efficiency and Power

The Beilhack HB 1100S stands out as one of the most efficient snow removal machines on the market. Technical specifications are as follows:

  • Mass: 80 tonnes.
  • Power Output: 1.470 kW.
  • Snow Removal Capacity: Up to 10,000 tonnes per hour.

Part of Norwegian Infrastructure Investment

Bane NOR, Norway’s infrastructure manager, has purchased two of these snow-clearing machines from Aebi Schmidt to ensure uninterrupted train services during the winter months.

  1. The delivery of the first machine has been completed and is expected to enter service soon.
