Stating that the need for event spaces is increasing with the increase in the population in Kayseri, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “The events organized in our city are increasing day by day. Many events are organized especially for young people and women. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are one of the most populous districts of Turkey with a population of 600 thousand. Therefore, we work day and night to provide the most qualified service to our citizens. We prepare all our projects meticulously, step by step. We are implementing projects that will set an example not only for our city but also for Turkey. In this context, we will meet a great need with our new project, Melikgazi Congress Center, which we will bring to our district.” said.
Stating that they wanted to provide a comprehensive area to the district in order to host many events, Mayor Palancıoğlu continued his words as follows: “We needed a comprehensive congress center where we can hold many events in Melikgazi. We wanted a place in Melikgazi, especially where the Technopark is located, close to the back door of Erciyes University, on the rail system and bus route, and we started working to bring the Melikgazi Congress Center there. Hopefully, when its construction is completed, we will have brought a new venue to our district that is very stylish, very elite, and where we can hold many programs. Our citizens will come together with cultural and artistic events at the Melikgazi Congress Center, which will consist of indoor and outdoor areas, including a theater hall, meeting hall, exhibition hall and cafeteria. We continue to implement our projects that will move Melikgazi forward and increase its prosperity and peace. “May it be beneficial and auspicious to our fellow citizens.”
Mayor Palancıoğlu, who has undertaken projects that will set an example for Turkey with services and projects worthy of Melikgazi, stated that he will continue his work without slowing down.
