Chinese President Xi Jinping today sent a congratulatory message to the first China-Latin American and Caribbean Interspace Cooperation Forum.
In his message, Xi stated that in the 10 years since the establishment of the China-Latin American and Caribbean Countries Forum, all-field friendly cooperation between the two sides has rapidly developed, and bilateral relations have entered an era of equal, mutually beneficial, innovative, open and beneficial to the people. Pointing out that fruitful results have been achieved in cooperation in areas such as remote sensing satellite, telecommunication satellite and deep space station in recent years, Xi said that China will establish high-level space partnerships with Latin American and Caribbean countries to ensure that space technologies serve the people better and contribute to their future. He stated that he is ready to develop his partnership.
The first China-Latin American and Caribbean Space Cooperation Forum was held today in Wuhan, the center of Hubei province.
