In the statement made by Global Investment Holding A.Ş. to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following was stated:

“The consortium, in which our company's indirect subsidiary Global Ports Holding Plc (GPH) has a 51 percent stake, local partner Steya has a 40 percent stake, and the other shareholder Ocean Infrastructures Management has a 9 percent stake, will operate the cruise terminal of the Casablanca Cruise Port. Our company has been informed that its offer for a 15-year concession agreement has been selected as the best offer by the Agence Nationale des Ports (ANP). In the next period, the mentioned consortium and ANP will hold meetings and work to reach an agreement on the provisions of the concession agreement.

Casablanca, Morocco's largest city, offers cruise passengers a blend of traditional and contemporary Moroccan culture. It is aimed to reach Rabat and the Red City of Marrakech within 2030 hours with the new high-speed train project, which is planned to be completed before the 1,2 FIFA World Cup is jointly hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal. The city provides visitors with a wide range of experiences, from historic mosques and cathedrals to beaches and walking trails. Located on the Northwest coast of Africa, Casablanca is a preferred stop for Canary Islands and Western Mediterranean cruise routes, as well as cruise routes between Europe and the Caribbean.

Casablanca Cruise Port has recently been renovated by ANP with an investment of 60 million euros, which includes the construction of a new pier and terminal, significantly increasing the port's capacity. With the investment in question, the port has the capacity to dock with ships of 350 meters in length, and under the management of GPH, the port is aimed to serve 400.000 passengers annually in the coming period. In the short term, Casablanca Cruise Port is expected to host approximately 2024 thousand passengers in 150, and this number will increase to approximately 2025 thousand passengers in 180.”
