April 23 was a Full Year in Manisa

A full program was prepared by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and Mesir Committee within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the International Manisa Mesir Paste Festival. In the program that started early in the day, a playground was set up for children in Cumhuriyet Square. While the children were having a pleasant time in this park throughout the day, the group exhibition named 'Healing for the Soul' of the International Manisa Mesir Paste Festival, Manisa's 484-year-old long-established festival, was opened. Event areas were established at various points of the city for the people of Manisa, who had a day full of culture, art and entertainment. People from Manisa filled the areas where dance shows and concerts of music groups from foreign countries were held as guests of the festival. The people of Manisa, who were excited about both the holiday and Mesir, showed great interest in the 'Welcome Mesir' cortege held later in the day. Following the 'Welcome Mesir' cortege, famous rap artist Norm Ender gave a concert in Cumhuriyet Square. Mayor of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, also shared the enthusiasm by attending the events held throughout the day.
