Students, who came together in cooperation with Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, took a nature walk to draw attention to the protection of the environment.
Students showed great interest in the event organized around Meram Çamlıbel and Tavusbaba Recreation Area within the scope of the social responsibility project. They both cleaned and warned citizens not to throw any substances that pollute the environment, especially glass, plastic and similar materials, into nature.
Students stated that they were very happy to participate in the event and emphasized that environmental cleanliness is one of the biggest responsibilities that must be fulfilled for future generations.
Students, who wished that these and similar activities carried out to protect the environment would become permanent, thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay for his sincere approach and the services he provided to the environment and young people.
