Izmit Municipality continues to celebrate National Holidays with enthusiasm.
April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day was celebrated to the fullest with many events in the city. One of these events was the swimming race event organized by Izmit Municipality Sports Affairs Directorate. The event was held in the indoor swimming pool in Tepeköy District.
7 athletes in the 8-150 age category from Izmit Belediyespor Swimming Club, Kocaeli Sports Swimming Club, Yıldızlar Swimming Club and Marmara Dynamic Swimming Club participated in the swimming races, which witnessed a fierce competition. After the completion of the competition, medals and gifts were presented to all the little ones who participated in the competitions.
