“We are holding the children's athletics festival, which we call World Children's Athletics, within the scope of the World Walking Championship events organized in our country together with the World Athletics Federation, in Antalya today with your participation.”
Using the expressions, President Çintimar said:

” Children's athletics is one of the largest international youth projects of the World Athletics Federation. There are 149 different game types in this project. Each type of game, organized in different categories for ages 4-13, is done in a way that will entertain them. The goal of the World Athletics Federation in doing this is this. Since all athletes in the world are called athletes, our aim is to create a basis for all sports branches, to create a sports culture, and to create mobility awareness. With this awareness of mobility, this year we are meeting with our esteemed minister, Dr. With Osman Aşkın Bak declaring the year of mobility, we continue to expand and develop this activity, which we have already done, in 81 provinces and districts. May 7 will be World Children's Athletics Day. On that day, we want to be the country that organizes the most children's athletics events in the world by holding this event throughout Turkey. We have now reached around 50.000 children. This is an important thing for us. Many of them here do not have a license, but they will get a license when they reach the second level. They will do these trainings with their licenses. Because we opened children's athletics training courses here days ago for the education of our children. We have around 5.700 instructors in these courses. Again, I would like to thank our Minister of National Education, Mr. Yusuf Tekin. Our Ministry of National Education also offers courses to 0-4, 4-7 and above groups through public education centers. Coaches and physical education teachers work in these courses. Our friends who have received this certificate are able to provide financial income for themselves and benefit our children by opening courses here. This makes us, our society and our future happy. Because these children we see here are the future of our country, the future of our sports. We want to multiply these here in the best way possible and expand and develop them further within the scope of our minister's mobility project.”

At the end of the organization, certificates were given to the children who were successful in the competitions.
