Mayor Şadi Özdemir Attended the CHP Local Governments Workshop

CHP Local Governments Workshop, organized by the Republican People's Party (CHP) Headquarters, is held in Ankara. Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir also attends the workshop, which includes CHP mayors, provincial and party executives.

Before the workshop, mayors and party management visited Anıtkabir under the chairmanship of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and expressed their gratitude and respect to the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Making the opening speech of the 2-day workshop held at CHP Headquarters, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated that they came out as the first party in the local elections by receiving votes from conservative and nationalist democrats. Özel spoke as follows: "I would like to wholeheartedly thank all our mayors, who performed their duties properly in the most difficult times, performed their best public duties with merit, transparently and openly, and who served in local governments in the past and enabled us to receive so many certificates of certificate that today they fill this hall with crowds." At the end of the elections, we won 14 metropolitan cities, 21 provincial centers, and won municipalities in a total of 35 provinces, and we have 11 more provincial municipalities than the closest party. Together we won 314 municipalities in 60 districts, 409 towns. By reaching 38 percent of the votes, we made our party the first party together. Our party is now a political party that can receive votes from all segments of society. We have achieved a great success. I am proud to be able to fill this hall with 650 people, together with elected mayors and provincial heads, on such a day, and that every person sitting in their seats is a CHP member who was elected with the certificates they received from the district election boards and provincial election boards.”

Stating that the "Turkey Alliance" won the elections, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel said, "Greetings to the mayors of the Turkey Alliance."

Emphasizing that investments are being made in Turkey's future, Özel said, “I will look at how it will be managed for 4 years. If you manage poorly, they will withdraw. "We have to act seriously and responsibly, with the awareness that we are marching to power every day," he said.

In the workshop that continues after Özgür Özel's speech, the work to be done for the Turkish people who made CHP the first party in Turkey after the March 31 Local Elections is discussed. In the workshop, where experiences regarding municipal services in the past will be shared, road maps for the field studies to be carried out will be discussed.
