Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition Exhibition in Nilüfer

The 39th Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition Exhibition met with art lovers in Bursa. In the competition, where the works of more than 9 thousand artists from all over the world have been included so far, the works that received awards and were deemed worthy of exhibition this year were presented for viewing at Konak Cultural Center with the contributions of Nilüfer Municipality. Organized by the Aydın Doğan Foundation and described as the "world's number one cartoon competition" by the authorities, the Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition brought together artists who put different thoughts and beliefs into caricatures.

This year, 64 cartoonists from 570 countries participated in the competition with a total of 365 works. The winners of the first three awards were artist Pawel Kuczynski from Poland, Elena Ospina from Colombia, and artist Halit Kurtulmuş Aytoslu from Turkey, while the winner of the 'Strong Girls Strong Tomorrows Special Award' Oğuzhan Çiftçi was deemed worthy. The winners of the achievement awards in the competition were the works of Xiaoqiang Hou from the People's Republic of China, Zygmunt Zaradkiewicz from Poland and Muhammet Şengöz from Turkey.

The winning works and those deemed worthy of exhibition will be open to art lovers at Konak Culture House between 25 April and 8 May.
