What's New in Android 15

Android users are experiencing the excitement of Android 15, the new version of the operating system this year, as every year. Google released the first developer preview of the version a few months ago. Now, the much-anticipated first beta version is available for testers on Pixel devices. The beta version gave us a look at some of the important features that Android 15 will bring.

Partial Screen Sharing

Now, users will be able to share only a specific application instead of the entire screen during screen recording or sharing. You will also be given the option to hide notifications. This feature came to Pixel devices in Android 14 QPR2, but will be available on the entire Android platform with Android 15.

Satellite Link Support

Android 15 will expand the scope of the satellite connection feature, which allows sending and receiving messages without the internet. Additionally, it will offer a more user-friendly interface.

Sensitive Notifications

A feature that will prevent applications deemed untrustworthy from accessing sensitive notifications. This will help protect sensitive information, especially 2-factor authentication.

Desktop Mode

This long-awaited new mode will transform the device screen into a desktop-like structure.
