Zeydan Karalar: 'There is no loser, Adana won'

Zeydan Karalar, who was re-elected as Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor in the local elections of March 31, 2024, addressed tens of thousands of his fellow citizens from the municipal balcony.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar told the people of Adana, who were celebrating in front of the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Stone Building and on Atatürk Street, that his election success was historic. “This success is even greater than the periods when we were very strong. This success is something else. "We made history in Adana and this is your success," he said.

NOT VICTORY, BUT POLITICAL SUCCESS

President Zeydan Karalar continued his words as follows: Again, we made a difference of more than 10 percent. I would like to thank everyone who voted for us. This situation is an indicator of the Adana alliance.

We added new ones to the existing district municipalities and relaxed in the municipal council.

The winner is Adana, there is no loser. At the end of the democratic struggle, we won. We won an election. I do not call our success victory, victory is won against the enemy. Anyone with whom we compete politically is not our enemy. We all wrote history together in Adana. We took all the districts we said we would take. This is our difference.”

THE ELECTION THAT GROWS HOPE

President Zeydan Karalar said: “We could not win the general election on May 14, 2023, but with the election we won today; We had the opportunity to transform the Republic into the settings of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's founding. This election was an election to raise hopes. People were filled with hope and excitement. We are very happy to realize this in Turkey. "In this country, you can only be a soldier of Mustafa Kemal."

Stating that he has been walking with his people for 48 years, Mayor Zeydan Karalar stated that they made the people happy with today's election success, which made him the happiest person in the world.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar threw flowers to the public together with his wife Nuray Karalar and the winning district mayors.
