Turkish Photojournalists Association's Beauties of Turkey Exhibition, which has been exhibited in more than twenty countries from Germany to the USA, from Russia to South Africa, from India to Zambia, from Qatar to Argentina, with different photographs, is this year's Culture Road. The photographs, which started to be exhibited at the Ramazanoğlu Cultural Center in Adana, the first stop of the festivals, will be presented to the attention of local and foreign tourists at the Cumhuriyet Median in Antalya, the last city where the Culture Road Festivals will be held, after 15 cities. The exhibition includes 31 photographs from 39 master photographers.
The frames that won awards in the "Press Photos of the Year" competition, which has been organized by the Turkish Photojournalists Association for 39 years, make a note in Turkey's visual history. "Turkish Beauties" has been added to this competition organization as a separate competition since 2018 in order to contribute to the promotion of the country. The frames selected from the huge archive of award-winning photographs in the competition, in which more than 5 thousand works participate every year, were transported to different cities of the world with different selections, and this year, they were moved to the Turkey Culture Road Festivals, which manage to combine art, culture and history at a single point.
Rıza Özel, President of the Turkish Photojournalists Association, explained the importance of bringing the photographs that have attracted attention in different cities of the world to the citizens in Turkey through the Culture Road Festivals, which have become the country's largest culture and art event, and said, "The photographs of Turkish Beauties have been published many times abroad for the promotion of our country." was showcased.
