Türkiye Returns from Expo 2023 Doha with an Award

“A Green Desert, A Better Environment” with 80 participating countries carried out within the framework of the theme Expo 2023 Doha's successful pavilion special awards were given to their owners at the award ceremony held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

It attracts great attention from visitors with its rich content and acclaimed architectural design. Türkiye Pavilion, at the ceremony held It won the AIPH (The International Association of Horticultural Producers) International Grand Prize for its “Pavilion Best Example of Excellence and Innovation in Horticulture” content.

At the Türkiye Pavilion, where horticultural and agricultural products from 7 regions of Turkey are introduced with the motto "Homeland of Horticulture", Visitors were taken on a journey from the past to the present of Turkish agriculture. Turkey's rich product range and endemic plant diversity were introduced in the exhibition areas created with a technological and innovative perspective. Turkey Pavilion, where international visitors experienced examples of traditional Turkish culture, art and gastronomy with great interest, became one of the most visited pavilions for 6 months.

The Türkiye Pavilion, created under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey, had an impressive presence throughout the organization. The Ministry worked intensively to promote Turkey's economic potential and commercial opportunities, highlighting the diversity and innovative approaches of the Turkish business community through events and exhibitions organized during the Expo.
Highlighting potential cooperation opportunities regarding Turkey's trade and investment environment with content from various industries in the organization, the Ministry provided participants with the opportunity to discover Turkish goods and services.

Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who attended the Turkey-Qatar High Strategic Committee Meeting in Doha on December 4, 2023, visited the Expo 2023 Doha fairground after his contacts there. Visiting the Turkey Pavilion in the Expo area, our President Erdoğan received information about the pavilion from the authorities, signed the special book and planted a commemorative sapling.

Between 2 October 2023 and 28 March 2024, The Expo 2023 Doha world exhibition, which hosted many visitors from different cultures from all over the world, ended its activities with a closing ceremony that witnessed enthusiastic shows. Türkiye; The Turkey Pavilion, whose design, production and organization activities were undertaken by the dDf (Dream Design Factory) company under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce, has successfully completed its mission by winning the AIPH International Grand Prize, as one of the country pavilions that attracts the most attention and is most appreciated by visitors.
