The Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that the first stop of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival will start in Adana on April 13.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, the Turkish Culture Road Festival will start on April 13, with its first stop in Adana, and will continue until April 21. The 12th International Orange Blossom Carnival, held for the 12th time this year, was also included in the festival project.
Within the scope of the festival, concerts, exhibitions, talks and various events will be held at more than 30 locations. Many volunteer activities coming to the city for the Orange Blossom Carnival will take part in the carnival program. Many events, especially the Colorful Giant Carnival Cortege, will meet both festival visitors and carnival lovers in Adana.
Many different musicians and groups such as Mert Demir, Haluk Levent, Fatma Turgut, Emircan İğrek, Köfn will take the stage in Merkez Park, and Gece Yolcuları, Kafadar will take the stage in Atatürk Park. İsmail Altunsaray and Öykü Gürman will sing Neşet Ertaş folk songs in Atatürk Park.
Refik Anadol's data sculpture "Machine Hallucinations: Coral Dreams" will be exhibited at the Memorial Museum. In addition, the iconic structures of the cities on the festival route and the work titled "Atatürk on the Cultural Path", produced specifically for the festival, will be presented to the festival visitors at the Train Station using the artificial intelligence algorithm. The important buildings that Atatürk visited in these cities will come to life again with artificial intelligence-supported digital art.
The exhibition "Digital Art from Sketches to Pixels: Anatolia Edition" will meet art lovers at the National Textiles Factory, which has been restored and turned into a museum and will host many exhibitions specially prepared for the festival.
Adana Museum Complex will host 'Matraki: An Ottoman Star', one of the exhibitions specially prepared for the festival. This special exhibition, prepared based on the range route in Matrakçı Nasuh's work "Beyan-ı Menazil-i Sefer-i Irakeyn-i Sultan Süleyman Han" and similar points of the Turkish Culture Road Festival, will be presented to art lovers at the City Museum.
Many theater plays will also be staged within the scope of the festival. Ramazanoğlu Cultural Center and 01 Burda PGM in Adana will host sold-out works of the State Theatres.
International Orange Blossom Carnival's Colorful Carnival Cortege, traditional Cortege Costumes Competition, Water Cortege, Orange Flavors Competition, Orange Blossom Folk Run, Colorful Fest, Orange Blossom Chess Tournament, Orange Blossom Camping Area Activities, TJK - Orange Blossom Run, Many events such as TJK Pony Club, Taste Events, Adana Gifts Stand Areas will meet carnival lovers in Adana.
