Three More Cultural Elements Nominated for UNESCO

Three separate candidate files were prepared by the General Directorate of Living Heritage and Cultural Activities of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to be evaluated next year within the scope of the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, which was signed with the aim of protecting the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, to which Turkey was a party in 2006.

It was sent to the UNESCO Secretariat with the participation of Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkey.

According to the information received from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Turkey is the second country that registers the most cultural values ​​with thirty cultural heritage elements registered in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists.
