The first leg of the 2024 AVIS Turkey Climbing Championship, organized with the main sponsorship of ICRYPEX and the contributions of Mihalgazi Municipality and Tecno Mobile, was held by Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club (ESOK).
In Category 2, Atış Motorsport's Engin Apaydın won the first place, while Ayhan Germirli came second and Atış Motorspor's Metehan Üstükarcı left Eskişehir in third place.
In Category 3, Murat Soyçopur from Atış Motorsport became the first athlete, while Burak Dalkılıç came in second and Murat Çetin from Ege Asal Motorspor became the athletes who completed the podium in third place.
In Category 4, Burak Title from Atış Motorsport took the first place, while Cem Yalın from Gp Garage My Team came in second and Sercan Köse from Hypco Neo Motorsport team came in third.
In Category 5, Bahadır Sevinç was the fastest name of the day, while Burak Söğüt took second place and Deniz Dursun from Ege Asal Motorspor took third place.
While Burak Title won the 'Best start of the day' award with 04:27,50, the team winner of the race was Atış Motorsport, which reached the first place in 4 different categories. In the women's class; Serap Kotan in Category 1, Hande Erdoğan in Category 3, and Başak Çobanlar in Category 4 were the athletes who shared the first places.
In the local classification; Faruk Sayın in Category 1, Kaan Polatoğlu in Category 2, Erhan Karadeniz in Category 3, and Başak Çobanlar in Category 4 were the first places.
It was learned that the 2024 AVIS Türkiye Climbing Championship will continue with the Kartepe Climbing Race, which will be held in Kocaeli on 4-5 May.
