Izmir-Lesbos voyages, which are carried out by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality with the comfort of İZDENİZ in order to revitalize sea tourism, started with a special program for Ramadan Feast. The first of the voyages, where interest increased with the introduction of gate visas, was made from Alsancak Port with the high-speed passenger ship İhsan Alyanak. The ship, with 220 passengers, will return on Thursday. The other voyage of the holiday will be held on April 12.
The first of the Izmir-Lesbos voyages launched by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and İZDENİZ A.Ş. to revitalize sea tourism started with a special program for Ramadan Feast. Before the regular flights that will start on May 3, two trips were organized with the slogan "Our route is Lesbos during the holiday". The first of the holiday voyage, which attracted great interest from citizens who want to spend their holidays in Lesbos with the start of visa application at the door, was made this morning with the high-speed passenger ship İhsan Alyanak from Alsancak Port. The first passengers of the İhsan Alyanak ship, which departed for Lesbos with 220 passengers, will return on Thursday. Another voyage will be held on Friday, April 12. The return date of that expedition was determined as April 14.

Suat Çaylı, who joined the expedition with his wife from Aydın Nazilli, said, “This is our first time going abroad. “We are very excited,” he said. Hakan Şen, who came from Istanbul, said, “We were going to go to the islands, but when we learned that the Lesbos voyages had started, we came to Izmir. We will go from Izmir to Lesbos for the first time. A very nice service. I m in tourism sector. "We can consider these trips as an alternative for our groups," he said. Alper Kayahan said, “It will be my first time going abroad. "It is very nice to have such a service," he said.
This year, 41 voyages will be made with two ships
Izmir-Lesbos 2024 summer term flights will start on May 3, 2024 and end on September 27, 2024. İhsan Alyanak Ship, which has the distinction of being the first passenger ship to fly its flag in international waters by departing from Izmir Port in more than 20 years, is the second high-speed ship of İZDENİZ this year. Dr. Aziz Sancar Ship will accompany you. This year, the number of flights was increased by 143 percent and 41 trips were planned to be made throughout the season. This number may increase with additional flights in line with increasing demand. The sailings will depart from Izmir Alsancak Port every Wednesday and Friday at 08.30, and return from Lesbos Port every Friday and Sunday at 17.00. The distance from Lesbos Port to Izmir Alsancak Port is 64 nautical miles. Depending on weather and sea conditions, the journey will take 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Youth 50 percent discount
For the Ramadan Feast special flight, the price tariff valid for the weekend was applied. 2024 ticket prices are for flights departing on Friday (Friday departure - Sunday return), 0-7 years old 5 Euro one way, 8 Euro round trip, 8-18 years old 22,5 Euro one way, 34 Euro round trip, full ticket single. It was determined as 45 Euros one way and 68 Euros round trip. Ticket prices for flights departing on Wednesdays (departure on Wednesday - return on Friday) are 0 Euros one way for 7-5 years old, 8 Euros round trip, 8 Euros one way for ages 18 to 20, 30 Euros round trip, full ticket 40 Euros one way, Round trip was determined to be 60 Euros.
Ticket sales continue
Ticket sales for Izmir-Lesbos flights continue. Voyage tickets can be purchased online via the website Bilet.izdeniz.com.tr or from the İZDENİZ ticket sales office located in Izmir Port and from the authorized agencies on the website. Passengers who wish to participate in the Izmir-Lesbos expeditions will be able to participate with their bicycles, provided that they notify them when booking their tickets. İhsan Alyanak and Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar cruise ships will be able to accept up to 10 bicycle passengers.
Appointment is required for visa application at the door.
Passengers who will travel with a visa on arrival must make an appointment by calling the İZDENİZ Sales Office at "0552 035 88 60" before applying. Passengers who will apply for a gate visa are required to submit all required documents to the İZDENIZ Sales Office at least 5 days before the date of passage to Lesbos Island.
