Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Chairman and General Administration Member Atty. Sinan Tekin published a congratulatory message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
Tekin's message is as follows: “The Turkish Grand National Assembly was established on April 23, 1920, to save the occupied homeland and establish an independent state on these lands. The Turkish Grand National Assembly, the pioneer of the War of Independence, is a reflection of the nation's unshakable will for independence. This homeland is not a legacy to us, but a sacred trust left by our ancestors at the expense of their lives. Our responsibility is to leave this legacy to future generations in the best possible way. That's why we must put aside the sterile conflicts and demonstrate the determination to build a Great Turkey and a New World together. The greatest legacy we can leave to future generations is a happy, peaceful and prosperous country; There should be a Türkiye that will lead the world, not a satellite of the West. April 23 is also a holiday gifted to our children. Our children are our valuable asset and the guarantee of our future. Our future will be secure if we raise a generation that is committed to moral and spiritual values and grows up with love for the homeland and nation. With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate our entire nation on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.”
