It is now accepted by every citizen that there is no trust in the society in TÜİK's inflation calculation. Even if TURKSTAT inflation is accepted as accurate, it can be seen that the total inflation for 3 months is 15,06 percent. In this case, the 1 percent raise given to civil servants and retired civil servants as of January 2024, 15 appears to have been completely eroded.
The government constantly states without hesitation that it will continue its austerity policy, turning a deaf ear to all the demands of civil servants and retirees. The purchasing power of civil servants and retirees, who have been given raises based on manipulated inflation figures for years, has been completely exhausted. While raises were made with inflation figures that do not comply with the economic realities of our country, on the other hand, the welfare share application was not implemented, and civil servants and retirees were left to poverty. While all this was happening on the civil servant front, the yellow unions, whose duty was to launder and purify the Government, now became two, while they were once one, became a party to an open race in favor of the Government, and ignored all the rights and interests of the masses they represented.
As Hür-Sen, we know that millions of our civil servants are uncomfortable with certain structures. Let's unite against this bad trend, let's do whatever the ethics of unionism requires, together. Let's succeed together. "Yellow unionism is the biggest enemy of our rights and the biggest obstacle that must be overcome," he said.
