In the first meeting attended by Deputy Mayors Burcu Ugantaş and Elvin Sönmez Güler, Karabağlar Municipal Council Neighborhood Commission members Fırat Eroğlu, Osman Sarı, Ayhan Uzunay, Selami İyier, İnan Karakoyun and Headman Affairs Manager Cemalettin Can, following a moment of silence and the National Anthem, the Municipality President Kınay made the opening speech. President Kınay stated the following in his opening speech:
I know that in this process, I think that we will advance good works for Karabakh and all our citizens together in full coordination. I wish good luck to our newly appointed headmen. We said that we would maintain a municipal approach in order to manage Karabakh together, to enter every house, to touch each of our people, and to produce solutions together while revealing the problems in these processes.
In my speeches, I said that we would hold a muhtars meeting every month, that we would present all our institutional work in these meetings, and that in the following months, we would develop a social municipalism in which we would touch every house of Karabağlar, with a transparent, participatory, supervised and inspected working approach, and that we would touch every neighborhood, We will realize a working approach together where our neighborhood does not feel other and outside, where we discuss problems and evaluations together.
At this point, you, our mukhtars, whom our citizens see as the first face of the state after leaving home, have a very important responsibility. Within this responsibility, we, as a municipality, will continue our way together with our headmen. We talked about meeting with the headmen every month. "We will work in our 58 neighborhoods, where we carry out municipal services correctly, without making anyone feel alienated."
WE ARE A PART OF THE 100-YEAR STRUGGLE
Speaking at the meeting about April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which will be celebrated next week, Kınay said, “We should never forget the struggle fought 100 years ago to achieve the secular, bright future of the Republic of Turkey with our children, youth and women, to reach the future this country deserves. As a part of this 100-year story of struggle, we can sit in these seats and have these conversations today. "With this, we offer our respect and gratitude to the fighting friends of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk," he said.
WE WILL CARRY OUT OUR WORK SHOULDER TO SHOULDER FOR 5 YEARS
After his speech, Kınay gave the floor to the headmen and listened to the problems, evaluations and suggestions regarding the neighborhoods. Stating that they established a neighborhood commission as promised in the April session of the Karabağlar Municipal Council, Kınay stated that they will work together with this commission to solve the problems by working together.
Mayor Kınay said, “We will hold our neighborhood meetings regularly every month. As we have shared before in these meetings, our problems, suggestions, evaluations and sharing within ourselves will contribute to the work that will contribute to the work that will provide equal service within the scope of municipal services, that each of our neighborhoods have different problems and solutions, have equal rights regarding urban life, and will receive equal service within the scope of municipal services. "We will carry out 5 years shoulder to shoulder in a relationship in which we will convey all our work here to each of our neighbors, each of our friends, and convey their words to the municipality, through you, in the work that will ensure the justice of the city at every point." he stated.
ALL PROCESSES WILL WORK MUCH DIFFERENTLY
After the headmen conveyed the problems they experienced in their neighborhoods, Mayor Kınay said the following:
“In our infrastructure-related problems, all processes related to the work within İZSU General Directorate and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will work much differently. We will work in coordination with all district municipalities.
We will contribute to this process through corporate communication, without the need for our headmen to make an effort to establish their own communication channels. We are making evaluations about our units. Our friends will quickly take action regarding the problematic points in our daily lives. "We will share with you information about the ongoing works that are in our municipality's investment program, such as condolence houses, religious facilities, marketplaces, cultural centers, which we also share in our projects."
OUR PRIORITY WILL BE SOCIAL MUNICIPALITY
Stating that they will work in coordination with all organizations, Mayor Kınay said, “We will evaluate all coordination, these demands and requests together. We will work actively with our headmen, neighborhood councils and commissions in other studies. Therefore, together with the suggestions coming from these commissions, we will carry out our processes within the municipality regarding the reflection of all works on the streets. "Our priority in all these works will be social municipalism," he said.
HE WILL HOST CHILDREN AT THE ASSEMBLY ON APRIL 23
After his speech, Mayor Kınay stated that they will host children, one boy and one girl from each neighborhood, in the municipal council within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which will be celebrated next week, and said, "During our neighborhood visits on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, sohbet We would like to host children from each neighborhood in our municipality this holiday, especially with our evaluations about children.
