Providing service to a large area of 15 thousand 800 square kilometers from Anamur to Tarsus, from Çamlıyayla to Mut, MESKİ activates generators in cases where there is no grid energy in drinking water facilities, administrative buildings, treatment facilities and waste water facilities, so that the facilities do not interrupt the service. taking. Generators purchased to provide uninterrupted water supply, wastewater disposal and more efficient subscription services play an important role in ensuring that possible energy outages do not disrupt services. Thanks to the generators activated in drinking water facilities, uninterrupted drinking water supply to citizens continues while the facility is actively operating in the event of a possible power outage.

In addition to the existing 170 generators, MESKİ supplied a total of 2021 generators, 59 in 2022, 33 in 2023, and 51 in 143, and completed their installation in important facilities within its area of responsibility. By commissioning additional generators, MESKİ increased the total number of generators to 313. MESKI, which carries out all maintenance of its generators at regular intervals, also intervenes in generator malfunctions as soon as possible. MESKI, which prevents unnecessary fuel consumption thanks to its Energy SCADA, continues its work uninterruptedly with the principle of uninterrupted service to citizens.
