D-Marin, the choice of premium marinas, will start the construction of Livorno marina, which is prepared to become one of the prestigious yachting destinations of the Mediterranean, which was implemented with the aim of growing marine tourism in cooperation with Azimut|Benetti Group, the first global leading private group in the yachting industry.

At the press conference held with the participation of important stakeholders in cooperation with Livorno Municipality, D-Marin and Azimut|Benetti Group announced that construction at Livorno Marina will start in April 2024.

Azimut|Benetti Group and D-Marin joint venture will bring one of the most important marinas of the Mediterranean, designed by Florentine Archea, to the city of Livorno. While the project is expected to be completed in June 2026, the first sections of Livorno Marina will be available to yachtsmen before this date. Within the scope of the project, there will be a total of 815 docks in the marina.

The project will be realized with an investment of approximately 14-15 million euros; It includes the renovation of docks, meeting spaces and world-class leisure and entertainment areas. An area larger than 220 m2 will be reserved for restaurants, 60 m2 for bars, and 250 m2 for offices.

Livorno Marina's environmental identity was designed with the strong determination of Azimut|Benetti Group and D-Marin to leave sustainable marinas to future generations. Natural elements such as trees and fences will be used instead of railings in the marina, solar panels will produce a significant part of the energy, and recycled rainwater will be used to irrigate green areas.

Livorno Mayor Luca Salvetti said in his statement: “Livorno will have its own marina. After 16 years, in early December, the procedure for the actual granting of the concession was completed and signed.
