First Statement from AK Party Bursa… Alinur Aktaş: I Leave a Clean Municipality

AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan said that it is not nice to put institutions under suspicion by showing things that did not happen before the results are announced.

“WE HAVE WORK TO DO AS A GOVERNMENT”

Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan stated that they did not find it appropriate to talk about the politics of lies and slander in Bursa before the results of the election were announced and said, “89 percent of our ballot boxes have been opened in Bursa. 793 ballot boxes left. By stating that according to the ballot box that was opened, CHP's vote rate was 47,8 percent and CHP's 38,3, they showed that the İYİ Party's life was over with a strange point with 2,24 percent of the votes. 9 of our districts were left to the AK Party, 6 to the CHP, and 2 to the İYİ Party. They declared their will at the ballot box in a truly democratic feast. We have more than 4,5 years ahead of us. As a government, we have work to do. "I say the next process will be beneficial for us," he said.

Gürkan stated that there are 720 thousand retirees in Bursa and said that CHP's 2 thousand lira promise will be followed by the retirees as well as the words of the promises made.

AKTAŞ: I AM LEAVING A CLEAN MUNICIPALITY BEHIND

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate Alinur Aktaş said, "The election is over, democracy has been manifested" and added: "I think that 12 thousand voters did not go to the polls, which is a 13-250 percent decrease compared to the previous local election. "We also experienced the loss of votes in Bursa, which was experienced in many parts of our country," he said.

Stating that he left behind a clean municipality, Aktaş said that they had a difficult time with the pandemic, floods and fires, but they never made excuses and said that there was no place left untouched.

Stating that she wanted to call CHP candidate Mustafa Bozbey to congratulate him, but was faced with slander before the results were even announced, Alinur Aktaş said, “Not even a taxi, let alone a truck, approached the Metropolitan Municipality. It is immoral to do these things from the very first minute. I leave behind a spotless municipality. A short time ago, I disclosed my assets upon the recommendation of the İYİ Party candidate. "I would like to state that the work carried out with black propaganda or perception will not yield results, and I refer the issue to the people of Bursa," he said.
