Seger, an innovative and domestic manufacturer operating in the automotive sub-industry, signed a cooperation protocol with Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ). Thanks to the cooperation that will enable joint projects and organizations, long-term internship programs and studies will be carried out for R&D, P&D and sustainability projects that are currently being worked on and planned to be realized at Seger.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Seger Chairman of the Board of Directors Selim Baykal stated that there is a great change in the automotive industry and said, “As a company, we are doing our best to quickly adapt to this change. However, innovations are increasing day by day, and since we are always open to innovations, we need to adapt to technology faster. BUU Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz underlined the importance they attach to university-industry cooperation within the vision of a research university and said, “We are doing our best to stay in the league of research universities and rise even higher. In this sense, we attach importance to R&D activities and developing relations with the business world. We believe that we have a much stronger hand in a city like Bursa, where the industry is extremely strong. We produce strong projects by blending our theoretical knowledge and academic equipment with the practical knowledge of industrialists.
