Following the decision to renew the elections in Kayseri's Pınarbaşı district, where CHP won the election, a trustee was appointed to the municipality. In the statement made by Kayseri Governorship, it was said:
“The General Elections of Local Administrations held in Pınarbaşı district of our province on 31 March 2024 were canceled by the Supreme Election Board and it was decided to be renewed on 02 June 2024.
Kayseri Deputy Governor Ömer Tekeş was appointed as the Pınarbaşı Municipality Mayor with the approval of the Governorship dated 02 and numbered E2024 until 07.04.2024 June 32463971250103422, which is the date of renewal of elections.
