'Traditional Kite Festival' will be held in Bornova on April 23

Bornova Traditional Kite Festival will take place at Aşık Veysel Recreation Area on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

The Traditional Kite Festival organized by Bornova Municipality will be held this year on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day at 15.00. Free kites will be distributed at the event, which will be held in Aşık Veysel Recreation Area.

In addition to the DJ performance, a magician and puppet show and a bubble show will take place on the stage to be set up in front of the Amphitheatre, and Bornova Municipality Children's Choir will also take the stage and give a concert. Workshop activities will also be held in the area where inflatable toys, face painting stands and various playgrounds will be set up.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki invited all Bornova residents to the Bornova Traditional Kite Festival to be held in Aşık Veysel Recreation Area on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day and said, "Just as we all painted the map of Turkey red on March 31, Bornova that day too."
