In Kayseri, on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, children wearing traffic police uniforms participated in the inspection and warned drivers who parked incorrectly with an announcement.
At the event organized by the Provincial Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch, children wearing police uniforms and participating in the practice held on Bağdat Street warned the drivers to wear seat belts and checked their driver's licenses and registrations.
The children then warned the drivers who parked incorrectly on 27 Mayıs Street with an announcement, and participated in the red light application of the motorized teams in Cumhuriyet Square.
6-year-old Eymen Ahi, who participated in the inspections, said that in practice he checks the driver's license of the drivers he stops and whether they are wearing seat belts.
Ahi stated that he wanted to be a police officer when he grew up.
Traffic training was also given to children at Martyr Infantry Petty Officer First Sergeant Mahmut Öner Kindergarten.
