April 23 Message from CHP Tekirdağ Deputy Nurten Yontar

CHP Tekirdağ Deputy Nurten Yontar made a written statement on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Yontar's message is as follows;

“104. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, whose opening year we will celebrate, waged the War of Independence under the leadership of our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, established the Republic together with its nation by taking the National Sovereignty from the hands of a group, pioneered the revolutions and made important services for the healthy execution of democracy.

Our Gazi Assembly, which has been working on behalf of parliamentary democracy since its establishment and has taken its honorable place in the history of world democracy, has been the guarantee of our bright future. In the words of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Turkish Grand National Assembly has been "the summary of centuries-long searches of the Turkish nation and a living example of its consciousness of governing itself."

Our most important duty is to work tirelessly on the path illuminated by the revolutions of our Great Leader Atatürk, who entrusted this country to us. Based on the fact that no country without developed democracy can grow, we will definitely rebuild a truly Democratic Parliamentary System, free from coup law, under the rule of the Republican People's Party. We will maximize the reputation and effectiveness of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, established by our nation.

The most valuable legacy we will leave to our children is a free and fair Turkey. As the Republican People's Party, we will work with this awareness and, with the endless power given by our people, we will establish the peaceful Turkey that we all long for.

With these feelings and thoughts, I celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, I commemorate all our heroes and martyrs with gratitude and gratitude, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who left us a free homeland, and I offer my love and respect to all our children and citizens.”
