A forgotten bag caused panic at Aydın Train Station in the city center of Aydın's Efeler district at noon on March 26, 2024. Upon the notice of the citizens who noticed the bag, police and bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the scene.
While the entrances and exits of the train station were closed with a security strip, the surrounding citizens were kept at a safe distance. Upon examination by the bomb disposal team, it was determined that there was no dangerous substance in the bag.
After investigations at the scene, the train station was put back into service. Authorities asked citizens to report any suspicious situation.
