AK Party Konya Deputy Tahir Akyürek met with citizens in Taşkent, Ahırlı and Yalıhüyük districts within the scope of the 31 March Local Elections.
“ONLY THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE CAN DO THE WORK”
Akyürek said, “Service never ends in municipality, investment never ends in municipality. Both irrigation projects, raising the road standard, and providing natural gas to our districts. Our struggle, effort and work for all these will continue. "Only the People's Alliance and the AK Party can do Eser municipality, no one else can do this," he said.
“CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION TAKES ITS POWER FROM LOCAL”
Stating that local governments give power to the central administration, Akyürek pointed out the importance of each vote to be used and said, “Strong governance in Turkey comes with strong leadership. It happens thanks to the People's Alliance continuing on its path. Now we are in a local election. Does this have anything to do with Turkey's stability? There definitely is. It's like a ring of fire around Turkey. Imperialist powers want Turkey to stumble. Imperialist powers want Turkey not to be able to continue on its path and want Turkey to become weak. Therefore, every election creates an opportunity for them. In other words, any negative result in the election will virtually give them the opportunity to attack Turkey again. That's why our President and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli are telling these all over Turkey, and our people's support is requested for this period. "Each game has great value," he said.
INVITATION TO PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN'S RALLY
Inviting citizens to the big Konya rally to be held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sunday, March 17, Akyürek said, “Hopefully, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will be in Konya at 14.00 on Sunday. "We are waiting for all our fellow citizens to meet our President in Kılıçarslan Square," he said.
Akyürek was accompanied by AK Party Konya Provincial Deputy Chairman Kazım Küçükçöğen, Ahırlı Mayor İsa Akgül, Yalıhüyük Mayor Hasan Koçer and Taşkent Mayor Candidate Mehmet Acar.
