Serving Another Mosque from Bursa Osmangazi

Osmangazi Municipality, which has provided services to many mosques throughout the district so far, carried out the landscaping work of Siteler İsmail Çolpan Mosque located in Güneştepe District. In support of the construction of Siteler İsmail Çolpan Mosque in Güneştepe District, which was built by philanthropic citizens, Osmangazi Municipality covered the mosque garden, which has a large area of ​​​​6 thousand 500 square meters, with mineral-coated paving stones, and built a curtain wall around the mosque, allowing both the mosque community and It also provided Güneştepe with a social area where local people can spend time.

After the prayer, Siteler İsmail Çolpan Mosque and landscaping works were opened with a ceremony. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar said, “When we took office, construction had just started in Güneştepe Neighborhood. Since then, Güneştepe has become the center of attraction of Bursa. We gave residence permits to more than 45 thousand flats in Güneştepe, Hamitler and Yunuseli regions. We live in a country and city located in an earthquake zone. Last year, we experienced earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş that affected 11 provinces and 14 million citizens. Before the earthquake, we built a new and safe Osmangazi in different parts of our district, such as Güneştepe. A modern city emerged within the framework of the plans made by our municipality. "This region is a neighborhood with safe residences and social facilities where we can breathe," he said.

Mayor Dündar continued his speech with the following words: “Mosques are places built by our nation. May God grant healthy and long lives to our charitable citizens who contributed greatly to the construction of this mosque. While such a beautiful mosque was emerging, we wondered what kind of support we could provide and we did the landscaping of the mosque. With the arrangement we made, a very beautiful mosque garden and a park that breathes life into the neighborhood emerged. We created this beautiful mosque together with our philanthropic citizens. May God not spoil this beauty of ours. I hope this unity, solidarity and solidarity will last forever. Congratulations to our mosque."

In his speech, Osmangazi District Governor Ali Partal touched upon the importance of mosques for our religion and our country, and said that the mosques rising all over Anatolia are the title deed of our country.

While Güneştepe Siteler İsmail Çolpan Mosque Association President Salim Tok thanked all the charitable citizens who supported the construction of the mosque and Mayor Dündar who carried out the landscaping of the mosque, the mosque was put into service with the prayer of Osmangazi Mufti Mehmet Uzun.
