When the branches of trees in certain areas along the tram lines posed a risk, they were pruned by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality teams.
Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department teams continue to prune the trees on the streets and boulevards under their responsibility.
Finally, it was determined that the branches of trees in certain areas along the tram lines route approached the tram catenary lines and contacted the trams in certain areas.
Due to this situation, which poses a risk in terms of technical safety, Park Gardens teams carried out tree pruning work at night.
Possible disruptions were prevented with the work carried out at night when there was no tram, vehicle or pedestrian traffic. After the cleaning application while the teams were working throughout the night, tram services started the new day without any problems.
