Since 2009, we have been experiencing the honor of running in this service marathon with our 'Brand Cities' vision, our goal of 'On the Path of Great Civilization' and our theme of 'Municipality with Heart'. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve Bursa, a spiritual city with such an ancient civilization. Now, we are starting a new stage in this service marathon. "We are preparing to open a new page in Osmangazi in Turkey's new century with the principle of 'Real Municipalism', 15 years of experience in local governments and the love of the first day," he said.

TRANSFORMATION IN 11 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

Reminding the public of Bursa with a slide show, Dündar once again reminded the public of Bursa about the services and projects they have carried out over the past 15 years full of humility, effort, sincerity and investments, and introduced the projects he plans to realize between 2024-2029, one by one, saying 'We have done all these, we will do them again'. . Stating that we appear before our people with empty promises, but with the permanent works we create, Dündar said, “Resilient Cities will be our most important topic in the new period as well. In transportation, we will continue to breathe life into traffic by opening new roads, making existing roads healthier and opening dead-end streets. "In the new period, by building the development road between Hamitler-Dereçavuş and the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Boulevard-Bağlarbaşı Okul Caddesi development road, we will provide important alternative routes to both regions," he said.

Underlining that they aim to further raise the standards of Environment and Urbanization in the new period, Dündar said, “We believe that every touch we make to the city is to leave a mark from today to the future. Bursa is a city of history. We will work diligently in the new period to preserve this historical identity and transfer it to the future in the best way possible. As Osmangazi Municipality, we are now a real brand in this field with the work we have done in the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum, Khans Area and Hisar, which we have brought as a monument to our glorious history, and with 567 restorations. Of course, we will continue our work in this field in the new period without slowing down in our district, where every inch is steeped in deep history. One of our most important focal points in this area is the Hisar Region. Here we trace thousands of years of history. We are transforming the Hisar Region, which hosts ruins from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods, into an open-air museum as an Archeopark. Within the scope of the Hisar-Üftade Urban Design Project, we have already started the work to turn the area into an observation deck. Thus, with a holistic planning, we bring to light both the Historical Silk Road axis and the Bursa of 1326. We will continue our recycling efforts, which protect nature and create value for the economy, uninterruptedly in the new period. Again, at this point, the use of renewable energy sources is very important. Last year, we provided 1326 percent of our energy needs from the sun with the Solar Power Plants we installed on the roof of Panorama 25 Bursa Conquest Museum and Veysel Karani Sacrifice Sales and Slaughtering Center. "We plan to double this figure with the new solar power plants we will build on our different facilities in the new period," he said.

In addition, our morale motivation camps for young people aged 18-25, who are preparing for the exams in information houses, will continue increasingly in the new period. Our "That Cafe, That Cafe" project, which we started with the aim of providing qualified areas for our young people to socialize, attracted great attention from our young people. "We will increase the number of these venues in the new period," he said.

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN, PENSIONERS, STUDENTS

With our Barrier-Free Work Workshop project that we will implement in the new period, we will ensure that individuals with special needs become a link in the production chain. We will continue to build bridges of love in the new period with Somuncu Baba Gönül Bakery, where we deliver approximately 3,5 million bread to our citizens free of charge annually, and the Soup Kitchen, where we serve hot meals and soup to those in need. Of course, we did not forget our dear friends. As you know, as Osmangazi, we have Turkey's largest Stray Animals Natural Life Center with an area of 114 decares. We follow in the footsteps of our ancestors, who built Gurabahane-i Laklakan as a workhouse for injured animals in the 19th century, and we take care of our homeless animals. "We will bring the Gurabahane-i Laklakan Natural Life Center, which will be more technologically equipped in the new period, to our district," he said.

SERVICE AND WORK MUNICIPALITY

Stating that they will continue their determination to produce services and leave lasting works in the new period, Dündar said, “We are adding Akpınar Cultural Center to the cultural center rings that we have brought to our district so far. As you know, Akpınar Cultural Center was also demolished because it was a risky building within the scope of urban transformation. With the project we will implement, Akpınar Cultural Center will be brought to the region in a more modern, safe and comfortable way in the same location. New demands are coming for the Indoor Market Areas, where we offer our people the opportunity to shop in a healthier and more comfortable environment. We will continue to connect needed neighborhoods with closed market areas in the new period. In the coming period, we will add new Family Health Centers that facilitate our citizens' access to health services. In addition, our work on the renovation of neighborhood service buildings, headmen's offices and taxi stops will continue without slowing down. One of the projects we will implement as a first in the new period will be Wedding and Event Halls. There is really a great demand from our people in this regard. Demands and needs are also constantly changing. As local governments, we are trying to keep up with this change. Visitors will be able to experience 3D metamorphosis with the naked eye, without using glasses. "He will be able to travel in a 3D virtual universe with his naked eye, without glasses," he said.

Continuing his speech by saying "We are people of service, projects and effort", Varank said, "We listened to a nice presentation from our president Mustafa Dündar, in which he explained which works he has implemented so far and which works he will bring to this beautiful district in the coming period. Our mayor, Mustafa, is a very successful mayor with his excitement and effort on the first day, as well as his experience. In fact, our President said in his evaluations in Ankara that we cannot deprive Bursa of such an experience. Hopefully, he wanted him to continue his successful work in Osmangazi. "We will create different works together with our president in the new period." he said.

Pointing out the importance of service policy, Varank said, “We are concerned about how to put stones on stones in this country. The works produced are actually the best indicator of our understanding. We are so assertive that you cannot find any other political movement in Turkey that can produce such works, or any other candidate that can rival us, other than the People's Alliance. We believe that we can do much more than this. The way to do this is to achieve synergy. District municipality, metropolitan municipality, central government. When you bring the triple trivet together, things become more fruitful and faster. We believe that we can make it 17 out of 17 in Bursa. My promise is that whatever Bursa needs, our presidents will follow it and the needs will be met. We are in love with this city. We will build a different Bursa locally and in general. It will be a period when the much-talked-about rail system and high-speed trains will be completed. “I would like to thank him for having such a hard-working president who is at peace with all segments of society.” He concluded his words by saying.
